DESCRIPTION

PASSION™ ED Quality optics with a large field of view and an impressive image quality. Fluorite-containing ED glasses counteract so-called chromatic aberration and provide better colors and a more contrast-rich image. The binoculars have a slim design with a robust magnesium chassis. The optics, the choice of materials and the stable weight make the binoculars feel significantly more expensive than they are.

 
GPOBRIGHT 

Each lens is multi-layer coated on both sides for up to 99.7% light transmission per lens. In an optical system, it is the sum of the light losses of all lenses and prisms that is decisive for the total light transmission. A quality untreated glass can lose (reflect away) up to 5% of the light per lens.

 
GPO-ED 

ED (Extra Low Dispersion) Lens elements with fluorite-containing ED glasses counteract color dispersion/chromatic aberration and provide better colors and a more contrast-rich image. Chromatic aberration is often seen as discolored (often purple) edges between light/dark objects in the image.
